The TeraFlex oversized steering stabilizer is built for the stress that an off road Jeep® will put it through. The TeraFlex The heavy duty steering stabilizer relocation bracket moves the steering stabilizer up nearly 2.5” to eliminate stabilizer body and shaft damage. The heavy duty cast ductile iron bracket and forged 10.9 stud reposition the stabilizer to eliminate the ‘tie rod roll’ that causes a dead spot of unresisted movement in the steering. Fits all JK Wrangler tie rods, or tie rods with 1-3/8" diameter tubing. The upper ball joint incorporates hard sintered wear bushings to handle extreme side load demands without failure. The lower ball joint features a threaded top cap for adjustable preload and allows grease servicing without axle shaft removal, even with larger RCV shafts. A machined grease passage in the lower joint housing assembly provides lubrication access without affecting the ball joint load surface. These ball joints fit 2007-2012* JK Wrangler Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles.

The internal floating piston provides controlled turning with a responsive feel. Heat treated and hard chrome plated 5/8” alloy steel shaft provide long lasting performance.
TeraFlex Dana 60 HD Ball Joints replace the weak factory ball joints that are unable to handle the demands of repeated off road use or larger tires. The ball joint studs are made from 4140 chrome moly steel for high hardenability and are heat treated to provide excellent fatigue and abrasion resistance. The weak factory plastic cups have been eliminated. The upper ball joint has two sintered metal bearings to handle the rotational load and the lower ball stud rides in a metal cup that is threaded to provide for a precise pre-load. In-between the lower ball joint threaded cup and ball stud is a special plate spring made from high carbon tool steel for excellent wear resistance as the lower joint must bear the vehicle weight. The lower ball joint also features an oversized flanged nut for a good bearing surface against the outer knuckle. Both ball joints have grease zerks that are easy to service. The lower ball joint has a special flush needle zerk that is offset for u-joint clearance and ease of maintenance. Note: We recommend ball joints without knurls as they will not score the inner knuckle and open up the bore. We also offer ball joint with knurls for ball joints that have a loose press fit in the inner knuckle due to repeated ball joint replacement or if knurled ball joints have been installed in the past. These new Jeep Wrangler JK Dana 30/Rubicon 44 knuckles are heavy duty stock replacement knuckles. Raised steering linkage, dual steering stops, and increased strength are the primary improvements while installation is simplified by allowing the OEM "outers" to be reused.

  • High Steer setup requires the Drag Link to be relocated to the top of the steering knuckle. Must purchase 8001-03-01 flip adapter or 4011 tapered reamer for relocation.
  • High Steer setup requires use of Synergy Jeep JK Front Track Bar Relocation Bracket when flipping the drag link to the top of the knuckle. Drag Link and Track Bar must be relocated together to prevent unwanted bump steer.
  • High Steer setup requires 16" or larger wheel diameter with a maximum 4-3/4" backspacing or wheel spacer with factory wheel setup. 4-1/2" back spacing is recommended.

The TeraFlex JK high steer knuckle is cast from heavy duty ductile iron and features reinforcements in key section areas that are prone to stress and deflection, and provides a heavy duty solution for several weak vulnerabilities found in the stock JK axle steering configuration. This kit is designed to work perfectly on JK Wranglers with 4-6” of lift, and will maintain steering geometry at the correct angles for superior highway drivability and increases tie rod ground clearance by over 1-1/8” to reduce tie rod damage and bending. This kit includes one driver high steer knuckle and one passenger high steer knuckle. Fits all JK Wrangler models including Rubicon and Unlimited. This kit is compatible with all factory and aftermarket axle shafts, ball joints, wheel hubs, and tie rod. All factory stability and traction control systems including ESP and ABS remain fully functional. Note: This kit must be used with a flipped drag link, and may require additional modification to improve handling and maintain correct steering geometry. A minimum of 17” diameter wheels with no more than 5" backspacing must be used with the JK high steer knuckle kit.

The TeraFlex JK high steer system is a complete solution that addresses all areas of concern when performing a high steering upgrade on JK Wranglers.
The Currie Currectlync® heavy duty tie rod and drag link system for all models of Jeep JK Wrangler vehicles features 1 5/8" diameter 4130 chrome moly heat treated steel tubing tie rod and drag link tubes, 1 1/4" thread forged steel greasable tie rod ends, as well as new steering stabilizer shock bracket and u-bolt kit The massive tie rod ends thread into the tie rod end body so that they may 1) be replaced without replacing the whole rod end saving cost, 2) the same threaded in tie rod end is used at all 4 points so only one spare would have to be carried, and 3) they may be unscrewed from the rod end bodies and screwed in from the other side if a flipped tie rod and/or drag link was desired. Tie rod and drag link tubes feature wrench flats machined onto them and jam nuts for ease of adjustment. This unit is a direct replacement for the stock parts. No modifications or machining to any part of the vehicle is necessary, and best of all, it's made in the U.S.A.! NOTE 1: Flipping the tie rod or drag link would require retapering the tie rod end holes from the top side of the knuckle. NOTE 2: Replaces part number JK-9701.
