This heavy duty and light weight truss system and armor is designed to take serious abuse and reinforce your front Dana 30 or Dana 44 JK axle. The 1/4" thick truss top and 10Ga. gusseting incorporates a unique design to strengthen both axle tubes, not just the long tube (commonly found in "other" designs). The precision cut and formed components of this setup ensure a hassle-free installation.

NOTE: This kit requires general welding and fabrication skills including welding to the cast center section. Welding should only be done by a competent welder. Artec Industries implies no guarantees or warranties and is not liable for improper installation.

The replacement housing includes a heavy duty Tera30 housing, tubes, inner seals, axle bracketry, and outer knuckles. Simply transfer your existing internal components, outer knuckle assembly, and brakes to the new housing! The Tera44 heavy duty front Dana 44 replacement housing is the perfect solution for bent, broken or damaged front axle housings in a JK Wrangler.
This replacement housing can be used to build a heavy duty axle upgrade for both Rubicon and non-Rubicon JKs. The replacement housing includes a completely redesigned center section, heavy duty 3.25" x 1/4 wall axle tubes (upgradeable to a 1/2" wall) , inner seals, axle bracketry, and inner C knuckles. The R44 housing allows for a simply transfer of all existing internal components, axle shafts, outer knuckle assembly, and brakes. The TF44 replacement housing gives you the option of using any after market locker in the event you decide to upgrade from the factory Rubicon Locker. The standard locker in a TF44 housing will require new axle shafts.
